Her family would have these big family parties where her mom would dress her up in frilly Christmas dresses and paint the perfect red pout on her lips. It wasn’t even the holidays! Andrea was jealous of all her cousins wearing jeans and wanted so badly to wash her face off. Little did she know it would turn into something she loves. Soon Andrea would climb up onto her mom’s bathroom counters and for hours try on different shades of her Estee Lauder and Lancome lipsticks, making faces in the mirror.Andrea graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Communication and plans on applying to a top Makeup Artistry school in the Los Angeles area. With her entrepreneurial sense and artistic outlet, she wants to one day open up her own Beauty Bar complete with full services. Andrea’s family and friends see it when she does their makeup – that she has found her passion in life and is ready and willing to work at it. She has fun and gets so excited when she applies their makeup, does their hair, or paints their nails, whether it be for a school dance or their wedding. The happiness they radiate from her work makes the moment that much more fulfilling. Andrea is finally content that she has found her place in the world, creating a canvas one face at a time.
